Keep baby safe in the sun:

The importance of keeping your baby safe in the sun has been highlighted after a baby boy suffered serious sunburn at the weekend. The mum of the 5-month-old baby was led away from Brighton beach by police after her baby suffered terrible burns.

It can take only 15 minutes of exposure to the sun for your baby’s delicate skin to get a burn. Yes, sunshine is good for you — it activates the body’s production of vitamin D, important for bones and teeth, among other things. And it just plain feels good.
